Is it bad luck or destiny when Lucy comes down with a sore throat and the new doctor in Snow Valley is none other than the guy she kissed at the airport?

The Christmas Eve Kiss by Taylor Hart

But when she gets teamed up with Kevin Snow, aka her ex-boyfriend, to decorate a Christmas tree, things start to change. Too bad getting over the past is hard and seeing him kiss another girl is even harder. Now Molly is left with a choice—run away from home and heartbreak or let Christmas work out a miracle all of its own.

Risking it all for Love by Award-Winning author, Kimberley Montpetit
Ever since her high school boyfriend's death from a car accident three years earlier, Jessica Mason and her hometown of Snow Valley, Montana with all its awful memories have NOT been compatible. Running away to New Orleans on a ballet scholarship, Jessica cringes when she thinks about confronting Pastor John and the community church--she doesn't want to talk about God, not after He took Michael, the boy she was going to marry ever since third grade.
In the local scene of funky New Orleans, Jessica seeks out Madame LaBlanc, hoping Michael will absolve her of her guilt the night of the car accident in a seance, but the spirit world is silent and she fears the grief will drown her.
Finally succumbing to family pressure, Jessica reluctantly returns for Christmas - and the little town of Snow Valley does Christmas BIG. When she visits Michael’s grave in the church yard, Jessica is shocked to meet handsome James Douglas, Pastor John’s nephew, who’s studying for the ministry. No, she is NOT going to be attracted to someone who wants to be a preacher! Definitely not compatible! But James Douglas is unlike any minister-in-training she's ever met. James can not only dish back Jessica’s finely-tuned sarcasm but understands grief all too well, turning Jessica’s world upside down.
Can Jessica forgive herself for that terrible, fateful night? Can she take another risk on love?

Blue Christmas by Lucy McConnell
As head of Snow Valley hospital's fundraising effort, Paisley Hackett barely has time to organize the craft show, cookie decorating party, and the annual Christmas Ball. What she doesn't have time for is falling in love with Clay Jett, the incredibly handsome bass player who sweeps into town. She's been burned by a tourist romance before and, with everything going on, Paisley will have to work overtime to protect her heart from Clay and his swoon-worthy ballads.

Conference Weekend!

I long for conference weekend!

We get to hear the voice of a living prophet on the earth today. We get to sup at the feet of the Lord's apostles. What could be better?

Well, I'll tell you what might not be better--but it is good, to--yummy fall food.

I'm going to link to the best 'Swig' sugar cookie knock off I've ever made. If you haven't had these cookies--make them. They are so worth it!  I did it! And, I kid you not, I'm in a sleight sugar coma. They're that good.

I've been trying to figure out how to put a picture in it. I think the cookie and the perfect frosting combine to push the average--I can stay away--type into the ravenous beast, eat all the cookies and plunder and run.---really. It's liberating:)

So check them up and have the made for the family to fight over before conference.:)...I'll keep working on picture!

Blog Hop and a new Christmas Book!

I've been tagged by one of my favorite author friend's Christine Kersey for this blog hop!

Christine writes mystery, romance, futuristic worlds--she does it all! If you haven't read one of her books---check her out!

So here we go!

What are you working on now?

I have to preface this---with the fact that, as many of you know, I also write Clean, Contemporary Romance--under a pen name....Taylor Hart!

And I'm so so excited to announce that this is what I've been working on! Christmas boxed set!

Looks amazing, right?--It is amazing--very amazing!  They aren't out--yet!  Soon!  The first part of October!

I was asked to be part of this fun project and team up with five other writers. Together--we've created the town of Snow Valley, Montana...and six friends that are all falling into new love--or back into love that has been lost and found again.--They are really fun 'Hallmark like' books!

Here's the cover for my individual book....
Here's what it's about:

When Molly O’Hare gets a prediction that she will kiss her true love on Christmas Eve, she thinks it’s utterly ridiculous. But when she gets teamed up with Kevin Snow, aka her ex-boyfriend, to decorate a Christmas tree, things start to change. Too bad getting over the past is hard and seeing him kiss another girl is even harder. Now Molly is left with a choice—run away from home and heartbreak or let Christmas work out a miracle all of its’ own.

So you'll have to check it out--you'll love it, I promise!

Why do you write what you do?

I write clean romance because--I love it! That's what I read. Consequently, that's what I write. I love to write stories that touch people. Stories that -- touch me! Stories make people think and feel and possibly change for the better. --I know I change during this process!

How does your writing process work?

Here's how my writing process works---I outline something....and then I actually write it...and then I re-outline it! :) No kidding! Okay, with some head banging, hair pulling, late nights, and re-writing. But I can't stay away from it--I love it!

Many times I start with a scene. Some concept I want to play out that I think would be funny or interesting or crazy!...Man, seriously, I love my job!

And I love my fans!  I really enjoy hearing from people about what they thought was interesting, funny, quirky about my stories---so tell me!:)

I am going to tag another writer friend, Christina Dymock! Not only can she cook up a storm--check out her cookbooks!  But her romance writing style is witty and fun!

Check her out!

I also have another great writer friend, Jennifer Youngblood--she writes wonderful Southern Romantic Suspense--very talented--check her out!

Women's Conference

I'm super excited for Women's Conference tonight. I love the fact that women from all over the world get together to listen to council from the Prophet and from Relief Society Leaders.

The fact that there are women that all believe in Christ, worship Him, listen to His council--is so inspiring to me.  How strong we are together. How powerful we are in being united for His purpose.

And I'm grateful. So grateful!
